Role purpose:

healthcare sectors, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales professional to join

our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding

of the healthcare industry, and a passion for driving growth and fostering partnerships with

hospitals and academic institutions.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive sales of Avegen's digital health solutions to hospitals and academic healthcare institutions.
  • Identify and target prospective clients within hospitals, academic medical centers, research institutions, and teaching hospitals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, department heads, physicians, researchers, and administrators.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and consultative sales discussions with prospective clients to understand their pain points, objectives, and requirements.
  • Present and demonstrate Avegen's digital health solutions to prospective clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with client needs and company objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the unique value of Avegen's digital health solutions.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for Avegen and its clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent Avegen at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events topromote our digital health solutions and build brand awareness within the hospital and academic healthcare sectors.


Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. We would equally welcome candidates with experience gained directly in healthcare and clinical environments.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in selling digital health solutions or related products/services to pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, including key players, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Flexible working

This role will be both field and office based as required (our Kings Cross office, London).
